EXCELLENT JOB GOT WATER HEAT

Once again, on 3/24/23, I had the opportunity to call JBC again due to a clogged bathroom sink drain. I asked for Ryan because he and his son did such an amazing job the first time I hired them. I got a same day appt and again, Ryan showed up early. He did a great job for me and he was in and out in no time. I feel lucky to have found Ryan at JBC plumbing.

I first found JBC on the Best of list of the Honolulu star advertiser. Then I googled them and all their reviews were excellent. I like that their website stated their license # and BBB accreditation. I called them with 2 problems. They came the next day and arrived 1/2 hr early. They diagnosed both problems quickly by just looking at the problems. They quickly went to work and did a great job and finished in under an hour. The technicians were Ryan Sr and Ryan Jr. I had a leak under my kitchen sink and they left it looking clean and new. I would call JBC again.

I used JBC plumbing so many times over the years for my rental. They are always very professional and do a great job!

Needed some plumbing repairs in November 2020. Thankfully not an emergency. However was easy to get an appointment, Winston and his partner were great! If I need a plumber again I will call JCB

Water heater was going bad not getting hot enough needing to be reset and with company coming into town decided to replace the heater. Wife didn't want me to do it so called JBC and made an appointment. They arrived on time took out the old one and replaced with a new one. I went to work and when I came back there was a large puddle in my laundry room floor. After mopping up I determined that the leak was coming from my new water heater. Called up JBC (expecting that they would send someone over in the morning) and they sent the original install team right over. They verified that the water heater was faulty and started to drain the unit to stop the leak. They asked if I wanted to wait till morning to get the unit replaced but I was expecting company the next day. No problem. They went over to Home Depot to pick up a new water heater (different brand than the leaking one) and stayed late installing the second water heater. Totally impressed with their attitude towards making things right with the customer. Many companies would have put blame on the faulty product but these guys just worked to make the situation right for me. I really appreciate that. Will repeat and recommend

Fast, friendly, timely, affordable service? Yes, please! Needed the wax ring in my toilet replaced. Joey was done in 20 minutes and even had time to help me with a few plumbing questions I had. Will definitely use them again next time I need a plumber. Thank you!

Russell came on time to swap out my kitchen sink and bathroom faucet. He was having difficulty because the sink I ordered was a little too large, but he went out and got the tools to shave my granite down, and now its a nice fit. He didn't charge for that time he went to get the tools, and worked hard throughout. Our bathroom faucet was leaking a little and he came back right away to fix it. Great Job, and reasonably priced.

Russell assisted is with a leak at the base of the toilet. Russell was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and quick. He provided excellent customer service and did a thorough job. Also explained what steps would need to be taken in the event another problem should arise. Fair pricing which was explained in detail.

We had a new toilet to install and some other small plumbing jobs to complete... these guys were prompt to reply, had a very fair price, were just plain awesome to work with and did a great job in a timely manner! They will be my go to plumbers for any future plumbing needs that I have for sure!

This company is super awesome to deal with. Moreover, they ARRIVE on time, not some window of arrival. I was rushing to come home from the dentist and when I arrived home, they were already here! Prompt doesn't get better than that.

John and John Jr. I believe that they are father and son, troubleshooted the problem and fixed it promptly. They were on their way in a few minutes.

Both pleasant, efficient and kind are these guys, very easy to laugh and make jokes with, as well as personable. Very rare in the plumbing industry.

They have been with me at two jobs and are a friendly and accountable. They were able to explain the problem clearly and made recommendations.

Called this company for a service check, Winston called me and gave me an approximate time that he would come by, he said between 12 and 3, he kept calling me back to update me on his schedule, he called several times to keep me posted, very good service. Winston came around 2:30 and checked out what was our problem, he immediately saw that our dehumidifier(located next to the toilet) was leaking water and it wasn't the actual toilet that was the problem, I was a little embarrassed about that, but at least we didn't have to dish out the big bucks for a repair, just got charged for the service call, AAA+ company, thanks JBC and Winston, thank you for great honest service. Don't call the big companies, call these folks, you won't regret your decision!

My toilets were clogged and "nasty stuff" wasn't going down. My shower and tub were both backing up and more "stinky stuff" was coming up from the drain lines. I was in desperate need of a plumber but it was 9:30 pm! I checked Yelp for 24/7 plumbers and decided to call JBC Plumbing. Winston the plumber came to my house within an hour. He used the heavy duty snake to clear my drain line. Winston was knowledgeable and professional in his job. Everything was draining good and flowing good thereafter. I would recommend JBC Plumbing

Super quick response, scheduling, reasonable price, and Winston was quick to fix the problem!

If I could give a 10 Star I would give it to Winston because in the past week I had issues with my toilet so they sent one guy Filipino uncle who did nothing but trying to unplug it. Uncle Winston was the third plumber to show up but he did a much more amazing job. He knew something was wrong after multiple times trying to flush so he took the time to take it apart and found a stuck object and after solving the problem he mopped,scrubbed the ground before he left. I would refer him to any in the future.

I so wanted to give this company five stars however..my simple drip (so I thought) turned into 5 hours and two visits of repair. Yes, issue sourcing Kohler products. But, Two visits and they got it right...well almost as my hot water is cold and cold it hot. But after two days off from work..the drip stopped. I just live with the backwards water. The second chance I gave them was to fix my toilet where a seal dry rotted. They replaced the seal...however when i flushed my guest bathroom the next day its squealed!! So, called them again. Winston came out and fixed it quickly! So, ask for Winston..if I started with him, things would of probably been repaired properly..!
Just have patience...cause I lost mine.

It was two Sundays ago, water started leaking from the toilet. Immediately, I looked up plumbers on Yelp and either called and left messages or emailed several companies. Only one responded within an hour, JBC. Actually, JBC was the ONLY company to call me back. I spoke to Josh and explained the situation. I told him it wasn't an emergency but that I'd like someone to repair it on Monday, the following day. The price he quoted was very fair. On Monday, one of his plumbers arrived, diagnosed the problem and promptly repaired it. Thank you Josh for your quick service and professionalism. JBC is a company you can depend on.

It's been almost two weeks since then and still none of the other companies I contacted had called me back.

I discovered a small puddle of water coming from under the toilet in my master bathroom called JBC in the morning and made an appointment for the same afternoon.
Ryan came out looked at the bottom of the toilet and said its the wax ring, went out to his truck got a new ring, lifted the toilet up, wiped up a bunch of water that was underneath but thankfully hadn't' escaped and made a bigger puddle or caused any water damage.
He put the new wax ring on, screwed the toilet back in place cleaned up everything, gave me some advice on another issue I was concerned about and was on his way in about 20 minutes from start to finish.

This was my second time using JBC and I've had great service both times.

They charge a standard fee per hour plus an additional charge for parts and of course tax.

We had multiple problems with our plumbing and thought I could take care of it but I was wrong so we looked up plumbing companies and JBC plumbing had great reviews took a chance and called sorry can't remember the guys name that we talk to but he was very help and and even got a appointment for Monday which I thought was really fast. So Monday my mother in-law was at home waiting for our appointment our technician Winston came before our appointment time fixed everything in a timely matter my mother in-law said he was very professional and courteous and explained everything thoroughly to my mother in-law. Even though our problems were small JBC Plumbing still took care. I would not hesitate to call them again for any of my plumbing problems. Mahalo JBC plumbing

If your in the Kapolei area & require a good plumber, don't hesitate, call JBC immediately. Matt (plumber) is so good at what he does, very courteous, knows his job but most of all very respectful. We're an older couple, not very handy with fixing toilets but we're so glad we found Matt & Josh. Very dependable & super nice family run business. Call them, their fantastic.

Called JBC Plumbing to come and check our bathroom because something was leaking and was becoming noticeable on my brother's ceiling. They were able to come the very next day and even arrived earlier than their estimated time. Mr. Joey was very kind and managed to find the problem and fixed it right away in less than an hour. He even recommended someone to fix the ceiling. Amazing experience overall. Will definitely call them again if we need any other assistance. Thanks so much!

We had a leak in our yard (won't pretend to know what part) and originally called a different company who quoted over $7k

Called JBC to compare and turns out....it was WAY less and only took a fraction of the time! The technician came out and took care of it and explained everything...including WHY he didn't need to do what the other company said.

Josh Thank you so much for coming through for us. Although we had a little hiccup you were professional in demeanor and action. We had a leak in our kitchen sink. Turned out to be a leaking faucet tube. We went and bought a new faucet and JBC Plumbing came back to install it. Ryan was professional and had our faucet installed in less than an hour. Thank you as we have our daughter and our grandchildren visiting from the mainland for Christmas and with a toddler and an infant we really need this kitchen sink running. Something went strangely awry with our water heater last week, leaving us with only cold water to wash dishes, wash clothes, wash our hands, etc. Not an emergency situation but certainly not convenient.

We called JBC Plumbing, and Josh was able to send a couple of his repairmen the next day. Their arrival was timely, and repairmen were friendly and communicative throughout the process. After some troubleshooting, seemed the best solution was to replace the water heater. Within a couple of hours, the old water heater was removed and a new one was installed. Pricing was comparable to what other places would have charged, but it makes a world of difference when the people you hire are professional, polite and pleasant. Definitely recommend!

My tankless water heater stpped making hot water. So i went on YELP and found JBC PLUMBING LLC. With a 5 star rating. No negative reviews.
I put out a quote but didnt get no response so i decided to call..happy i did.
JBC PLUMBING LLC does NOT charge any upfront fees, service call fees, estimate fee, any kind of fees. NONE!!
Josh came out the next day for my FREE job check. We set up an appt the next day to remove and install new tankless water heater (which i purchased from Home Depot). Josh gave me a fair price upfront for the job.(no hidden fees)
Ryan and his partner showed up very personable. Job was done less than an hour.
The only negative would be that plumbers cannot do the electrical hookup according to state code.
I did get a referral for a licensed electrician.
Highly recommended local company.

After getting leak detected by Honolulu Leak Detection who decided I guess, they didn't have the time to help us with our leak problem.. JBC Plumbing up next!! Just saying.. had issues trying to get in contact with them by calling but, they answered text messages promptly. After several attempts, we finally got them out to our place. Digging was made easier by the marked spots left by previous plumber. First dig.. nothing. Second dig.. Bingo!!! Fixed that leak. We also took the opportunity to have him switch out the shut off valve to our property. Turned water on and discovered we still had a leak. Plumber commented that " we won't continue until you have further detection work done"? With that said, he packed up and left. Guess he didn't want to check the other 2 marked spots? So, that cost us $714. You killing me LOL!!! Customer service was okay, at least they responded and the plumber was friendly and did a good job. I would recommend them but.. make their job easier I guess by doing the digging yourself then have them come out and fix the visible leak problem.. seriously LOL!!!

Had a minor scare when I saw water leaking from my water heater. JBC Plumbing was the first company I contacted and was not disappointed. Their courteous professionals arrived quickly, assessed the situation, and answered all of my questions. They stayed until I was fully informed of what the issue was, what my options were, and what maintenance and costs would be involved should I elect to have components replaced. I know nothing of plumbing was felt confident I had made the right decision to call these guys. I'd highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Today, we had JBC Plumbing come out to take a look at a leak that we had coming from the ground near the pressure regulator. Matt showed up exactly at the appointment time of 9 am. He spoke to my husband and got to work. Then the owner of JBC arrived a little later and talked to my husband about the plan to repair the leaking pipe. It took them about 1-1/2 hrs and everything was repaired well. They were so professional, friendly and nice. The amount they charged was more than reasonable and they sure were prompt. We hope we don't have anymore leaks, but if we need a plumber again, we will surely call JBC Plumbing.

Although I've only had one experience with this company, I can easily see why they're so popular, and will definitely call them again, next time I have any plumbing needs! From beginning to end, JBC's customer service was great, rates were very reasonable, & they got the job done well & fast...basically,everything I want in a plumber!

By way of background, our toilet had been making terrible noises for almost two weeks, but we managed to live with it for a while. When the bathtub drain also started giving us trouble, I knew it was time to bring in the professionals, & I sent out a Yelp request for quotes, to the maximum number of companies allowed (maybe 6?). Only 4 responded, and JBC responded within a few hours; they also told me their rate upfront, unlike some other companies. When I called to follow-up, they booked me for the very next morning!

Joey & Mike showed up on-time...well, technically 10 minutes late, but only after calling 20 minutes prior, to tell me their estimated time of arrival. No biggie for me. After introducing ourselves & explaining the problem, they went straight to work. They came in & out of the house several times, and were very courteous about removing their shoes in the designated area. (I've had other service providers who were not!) They were also very nice to let my ever-curious 2-year-old watch them constantly, and even responded "hi" with a smile, every time he said it to them...like 20 times, hahaha!

Once they were done, they kindly explained what had been wrong, what they'd done to fix it, and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. After checking out one more problem, which they were ultimately not able to work on (more of a landscaping issue) they wrote up my invoice, accepted my check & were on their way.

Long story short, I wouldn't hesitate to contact JBC for help again, and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat, for any basic plumbing needs. While I can't speak to their work on more complicated installations or "major disaster" type situations, I'd probably call them for those too. From what I have seen, their service is really top-notch: simple, straightforward, knowledgeable & efficient!

JBC Plumbing is AWESOME!!! They literally saved us, 3 day's of plumbing issue's, we tried everything to fix it ourselves which we were unsuccessful then we finally called JBC. What took us 3 day's took them 15 minutes to fix, I can't thank them enough. JBC came to the rescue and when I got home from work I could use my kitchen sink and wash clothes again, and they are very very reasonable and honest. I immediately saved their phone number in my phone, next time I have any plumbing issue's they will be the first and only that I call. Thank you JBC plumbing

We were referred to Joshua at JBC by one of our regular plumbers. We had a broken pipe in a slab and there was sewage backing up into a residential apartment. Josh and his crew came to the rescue on a pretty big job. They are great communicators, dependable and do really fine work. Big or small job ~ don't hesitate to call Josh. You won't be disappointed! Kitchen faucet hose sprung a leak. Ordered new part from manufacturer American Standard. Waited 10 days, part arrived. Removed old leaking hose. Pulled hose out wrong way so the stainless housing on the sprayer end lodged inside the fixture, out of reach. My bad. Could not see or locate it, but I knew it was in there, caused obstruction which prevented new hose from threading through the fixture. Called a BUNCH of plumbers. Most said " next Tuesday" of what ever, not an option! Sink full of dirty dishes, no water for a week?

Matt from JBC showed up within 2 hours, plumber McGivered a solution and got the piece out in about 20 mins. Problem solved. $115 later, worth every penny. Great job and fast response. What else do you want. Wish I made that kinda hourly rate!

If you're researching for plumbers stop . These guys are absolutely amazing. The service technician Matt was professional and courteous and did an outstanding job. Hopefully I won't have too many Plumbing issues in the future but if I do I will definitely call these guys again.

Prompt, honest and very reasonable. You won't find these qualities in a lot of plumbers these days.
Prompt - They were there when they said they would; Honest - There was a small leak in my new garbage disposal which was caused by a loose screw but they could've easily said 'you need to replace the disposal' but they didn't;
Reasonable - Charged the very minimal.
So grateful to have found this plumber on Yelp. I would definitely recommend JBC to all my friends and family, and would definitely call on them in the future for any plumbing repairs.

Amazing service provided by Matthew! Had a mysterious leak in the ceiling above our refrigerator. He had come out previously and was waiting for authorization from our home warranty company to cut into the drywall. Once that came through, JBC scheduled the work for the next day. Matthew called to give me arrival status and got here as promised. He was very professional and cleaned up after he did the work. Covered up the hole he had to make very neatly too (have to have drywall replaced by another contractor). Thanks, Matthew! Definitely recommend this company!

This morning I woke up looking for a five star plumber and five-star service is exactly what I got! Genuine thanks to Matt and his friendly conversation while hard at work, Mahalos!

After almost 3 weeks of having a leaky kitchen sink and One of our bathroom toilets needing the water valve tightened, as well as replacement parts AND me nearly flooding my home; I finally called JBC plumbing.

Within an hour my call was returned and luckily for me a same day appointment was booked. Matt came within the timeslot that was scheduled and even though he had to leave to get a specific part, everything was done promptly and took less than an hour.

The extent of this project was over my head and JBC plumbing helped me successfully achieve the task at hand! Couldn't be more satisfied : )

I discovered my drain was clogged around 9pm. I called and Josh was able to get me an appointment the next morning and gave me a very good estimate over the phone. He showed up on time and got the problem fixed and the price was not outside his estimate. He also took the extra time to clean the work area when he was done.

Went through a bunch of plumbing companies (that never called back or were unprofessional) before finding JBC Plumbing through HomeAdvisor. They had perfect reviews and all of their licenses were up-to-date. Called them on Monday and left a message describing the job I wanted them to do. Got a return call about an hour and a half later and they scheduled me in for the following day. Matthew showed up during the time window provided and completed the job ON schedule and BELOW their estimate even though the work was more complicated than had been expected. They charged a reasonable rate for their labor as well as any supplies they needed to finish the job. Matthew was courteous and professional and did a great job. Will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing needs.

Josh and his crew have been great. I used them now 2 separate times for my rental home. They have had to deal with communications with me, the landlord and the tenant, to set up the scheduling and logistics. My tenant has stated they are friendly, on-time, quick and professional. I had JBC Plumbing Services at my townhouse in Ko Olina 1/2018.
I had a complex plumbing problem. They answered my phones calls promptly. My hot water stopped running. They carefully evaluated the problem which was suspected in the outflow of the hot water tank. They went to Home Depot to get the tank and removed the old one. Then when tested the system they found that also pipes leading to the hot water tank were obstructed. All was fixed in a timely and profession manor. There charges were fair and appropriate. I was very pleased with their professionalism. If I needed them again I would call them first. These guys where able to come out next day and did an awesome job checking the water pressure on my house and replacing the regulator. Because I'm selling my house they also took pictures and sent them to
Me so I could show the buyer exactly what was done. They had excellent communication and where very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We had some issues with dripping from the old hose for our washing machine as well as needing major caulking for 2 of our bathrooms. Nate from JBC was awesome! Not only was he fast and very knowledgeable, he gave us pointers and showed us what to look for as well as do's and Don'ts when it comes to hoses, and faucet maintenance. Fair and very reasonable pricing for what we asked! 5 stars!!!!

These guys are great! Our shower stopped working on Saturday and we had company coming. Gave them a call, they responded fast and were at our house within hours. Fixed the shower with fast, professional and friendly service. We had them come back a few days later to fix a few other things. We will DEFINITELY use them again.

Updating my original one star rating as owner got back to me immediately after I posted it saying he never received the quote request and he scheduled an appointment for me the next day, today. Crew arrived during the time frame scheduled and completed the work. They were polite and took care of my issue. I recommend them , but call, don't use the online quote request. Fyi, had another plumber get back to me also saying they were not on the same island so the quote request system is messed up, don't bother with it.

Tried the online request on yelp. No response. FYI check the other quote requests the system sends out, it's not very good as they sent a request out to a plumber on another island, who was the only one that got back to me promptly unfortunately. Another responded the next day and asked me to call, the whole idea of a online quote system is that it's online...
JBC never responded so I think it;'s best to call vs using yelps online quote system which evidently has problems. So the one star rating may be more for Yelp than JBC

JBC came from Kapolei to Mililani within a half-hour of my call. I was at work, my wife was home by herself. The guys (I never learned their names) were courteous to her, completed the necessary repairs. in less than an hour (including a side trip to get parts) and charged a reasonable fee for their services. I would recommend JBC Plumbing to anyone, and will not hesitate to call them again when I need a plumber, either on short notice or for a scheduled job.

They were my first choice when I inquired for a plumber in my area. I asked for a quote online on a Sunday and was told to call. I ended up making an appointment with another plumber that week. Fortunately, the plumber I did make an appointment with ended up having to cancel my appointment so I called this plumber again and they were available the following day.
The plumber came in and said we needed 3 new faucets. He bought 3 good quality sinks from Home Depot and fixed and installed it the same day. The total time it took including going to Home Depot took around 5 hours. The total cost including labor and 3 new faucets was around $800. They accept cash and check. No credit card.
I would use this company again for my future plumbing needs.

Josh solved our water valve problem quickly and professionally. He treated us like family. We will definitely call him first if we have any other plumbing needs. He made everything better--and did it with aloha!

I called JBC plumbing yesterday December 12 2017 for a minior leak in my kitchen. They remarked that they were full that day and had an opening tomorrow. Gave me an idea of a time frame and had me text my information. I did so and eagerly awaited the plumber to come by (nervous over thinker) and the plumber sent out was honest and kind! Took a look and explained every step of the way what he was going to do. It was VERY refreshing. I would definitely recommend them again. :)

Our first service date was on a Friday (Josh squeezed us into their schedule as a VERY last minute same day add on). Even though it was after hours Joey only charged me their regular rate. He had to return with parts the following Monday (the Kholer shop was closed on Friday), arrived 10 minutes early and got to work right away. He changed out a shut off valve and the hardware to 3 toilets on a home we just bought. Price was very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and they communicate well. It's refreshing to get this level of service in Hawaii!! Thank you JBC Plumbing!!!

Had Nate and Mike out today for a slow draining shower. In short order they freed the stoppage and helped fix a sink issue as well. Highly recommended, from now on my company of choice!!! They offered to come early which I said yes! THANK YOU JBC!!!!!

Great service! Hot water heater started leaking and the property manager took her sweet time dispatching these guys out. Finally when she got them my information they called immediately to set up a time to replace the heater. Keep in mind that this was 4 days without hot water. After telling them that the property manager delayed replacement they were able to shuffle the schedule replace it that next morning. Josh and his assistant are absolute professionals. I would undoubtedly have them perform any of my plumbing needs.

When my last water bill was 18000 gallons I figured there must be a leak somewhere. Fortunately that large water puddle in the middle of my front lawn was a good indication of where the leak was. I called JBC plumbing on Sunday, said it wasn't an immediate emergency but would like someone to come out on Monday to assess the situation. They setup the appointment for Monday between noon and 3 pm.

Josh and his partner showed up before 2 pm, looked at the situation, and figured out the best way to resolve my issue which involved them doing a lot of digging. They took about 90 minutes and also checked for any other leaks while they were there.

I was extremely pleased with their work and no more leak. I would defiantly call JBC plumbing again for future plumbing needs!

Called on a weekend. A outside faucet or bib that was changed about a month ago was defective and leaked. They came out within the hour and changed it with no charge. I was thankful because Jake had to come out on a weekend. Fast and reliable.

Updated my previous comments and 1 star review. After I posted that I didn't get a call back 2 days from initial request, I got a call back and an apology for not responding timely. Scheduled me the very next day with a 2 hour window that they would be here between 10 and 12. Joey called me around 11:40 or so and said he was on his way. Got here in about 20 minutes and fixed my problem also in 20 minutes. Charged me the hour at a discount and the part.

Toilet no longer running. What a relief. Joey was very nice and showed me what needed to be replaced and why. All in all good service. I will recommend and call them again if needed.

Wow...I can't say enough good things about this place. I called them late Wednesday afternoon after a family friend flaked on me to fix a clog in my tub and a leaky faucet. They were all booked for Wednesday but scheduled me early Thursday morning at 8am. They showed up promptly at 8am and started working on my tub. They had to run out to grab a part for the faucet handle, but altogether it only took them about an hour and a half. They don't take card so make sure you have the right form of payment. Luckily I had taken out cash earlier so I was all set. The funny thing is the job ended up being cheaper than what my family friend was quoting me! I will definitely call them for all my plumbing needs and tell my friends and family about them! Thanks again guys!!!

Waited for the BWS to turn off the main (Ridiculous Policy), I was the Division Superintendent, Water System Ops. Div. at the BWS for a few years and never knew about that policy.

So anyway, Josh prepped his work while we waited for the BWS. Shortly after, BWS arrived,
Josh had them wait real fast while he replaced my main cutoff then had them turn the water back on. This Akamai braddah (Josh) by doing this, allowed me to avoid another 2-hour wait after they finished so BWS didn't have to return and turn my water back on. (Again bad policy BWS) within minutes he shut off my newly installed Main Valve and got to work on my remaining (2) Ball Valve replacements, he and his worker knocked out the (3) Ball Valve replacements and cleaned up the existing poor line configuration which was a maze.

Long story short "Best Damn Deal in Town", if you lucky enough to get on the books.

Quickly responded to my call and fixed our clog promptly. Ask for cash on the spot without giving us a heads up....need to accept credit over phone or online payment.

We were losing a lot of hot water and found out that we had a hot water line leak in our concrete slab in the middle of house. Soon the water stated weeping on the kitchen floor so we needed to manually turnoff the shutoff valve at heater to stop the leak. Whenever we needed hot water we would manually turn on the valve at the heater and place towels down near the source of the leak. We would then rush to take a shower and wash dishes to minimize the leak ponding in the kitchen.

We called JBC Plumbing and Josh was quick to respond to schedule an appointment and come out for an estimate to cap the leaky line and options to re-pipe the damaged line which service the kitchen hot water faucet. Josh met me at my home and had a good idea on how the hot water piping was distributed from the heater to my kitchen but would need to open up a 2-3 plumbing walls to verify. We scheduled the service with his crew a couple of days later.
On the day of service, his crew (Josh also) called to say they were running late from their prior job but on their way to my house. They arrived a few minutes later and I walked them through the areas to trouble shoot. The cut open the drywall of one plumbing chase wall and found the piping manifold which they suspected led to the other plumbing wall near the leak. They drilled a small hole in the wall and used a camera to look into the wall and found the drywall was damp and saw a plumbing manifold in that wall. The opened up the wall and there it was, the leaking hot water line right at top of the concrete slab. They gave me the option of busting out the damaged area of the pipe in the concrete and repairing it but I opted to cut and cap the leaky line. In 5 minutes, they cut and capped that hot water line so hot water can no longer run into the damaged line buried in the concrete slab. However we don't have hot water now servicing my kitchen faucet. The entire work was done in less than an hour and Josh's crew cleaned up. JCB charged a fair price of less than $120 where I have seen other plumber's try and price gouge customers and take advantage of their situation.

I would not hesitate to call JBC Plumbing for any plumbing work. From this experience I have found them be to professional, courteous, respectful of your property, competent, quality workmanship and most importantly fair and honest in resolving your plumbing issue.

We are now able to take long hot showers without having to manually turning off the heater for fear of flooding out kitchen and drying out wet towels. I looking to having JBC Pluming re-pipe my hot water line back to my sink to have our hot water system back to normal.

Josh and his Protg came out today on very short notice, came in with some fancy detecting machine (small kine SWAT camera), and found two leaks through their process of elimination. Found out that there was more to my circumstances than just in experience homeowner do it yourself mistakes and floating floorboards in the kitchen; a mouse or rat which ever is capable of chewing through the plastic 3/8" pipes and the 110 gage conduit wire that was inside the wall, these guys are well worth the call and time.

My personal opinion, if you have an issue with plumbing call Josh and his apprentice they're your go to guys for whatever may be going on inside your walls. just amazing work, don't know what else to say gooood job guys. I'm impressed. Well worth 5 STARS!!!.

JBC Plumbing to the resue!! Toilet was slowly leaking for a couple weeks. I just put a small bucket under it to catch any drips and was thinking that I could probably fix it sooner or later. Well, last night it started gushing water so I realized I needed to call a plumber.

I called two other companies, one of them quoted me and the other said they would need to dispatch a technician to my home to look at the problem and then charge me $30 diagnostic on top of the labor to do the repair and whatever parts cost. Then I called JBC and Josh gave me a much lower estimate and said he could send out a technician in an hour or so. Joey arrived exactly at 2pm, did the work, and charged me no more than the the given estimate. On top of that, he was friendly, professional, and we had a lot in common. We were talking story the whole time!

I'll be calling JBC Plumbing in the future if ever I should need a plumber again. They will also be recommended by me to all my family and friends... Highly recommended, 5 stars!!

After reading reviews on Yelp, decided that JBC Plumbing was the company I wanted to come and fix my old leaking showers. Matthew showed up on time, and worked diligently to get the fixture apart. Felt really bad, since after almost 40 years, the original faucets had a lot of hard water deposit, fusing the pieces together and making it difficult for him.

He warned me that if he couldn't get it apart, and because of the existing material, I would have to go another route (costing me much more than I really wanted to spend). But he managed to continue, and what I appreciate most, is that he took the time to show me how the parts of the cartridge had deteriorated (and work), why it was leaking and what he was doing.

Had him snake one of my toilets as well - nothing there. VERY reasonable, professional and highly recommended!

They were very responsive and came out within two days. The job ended up being bigger than expected since a pipe broke removing the faucet. Nate explained everything thoroughly and got the job completed. I would use them again if I have any plumbing needs.

Had a leak I found out about when received my water bill. Matthew came found the leak and did a great job. Took extra care with my lawn and in a week or so will never know it was dug up.

I needed some plumbing work for my house, so I decided to Yelp it and came across JBC plumbing. I called spoke with Josh and he quickly scheduled me in for the following day. Two gentlemen arrived ahead of schedule and quickly got to work and couple hours later the job was done and finished and exceeded my expectations they explained what they had to do and they cleaned up before they left. I will use JBC plumbing for all my plumbing needs thank guys.

Did an awesome job on my shower knobs!! It hasn't been changed since 1952. I was surprised that he even had the same ones to change. He was fast and diligent. Well worth the price I paid.

Josh returned my call promptly, took note of my plumbing problem and dispatched his plumber the next day since it was close to closing time for them.

When the plumber arrived, the tenant was not home to let the plumber in. However, instead of leaving, the plumber stayed and waited until the tenant showed up a half hour later.

Plumber diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue at the most cost effective solution. These guys are honest, reliable and not out to soak you for all the money they can.

I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

GREAT SERVICE. They arrived on time. They were very quick in response to our email and to get an estimate to us and booked the appointment right away. Took care of all the problems and issues we were having. Answered all our questions and concerns. They even gave us recommendations for future work that will save us money. Excellent work! Called their office about 8:40 this morning and was told they would have a tech come out between 10-12. Excepted that appointment. But in actuality, they arrived in less than an hour later. Met Matt, very polite and really expressed care in what problem I was having. After explaining to him, we came to the solution that my main line to my cess pool might be backed up. He immediately got his "toys" out and proceeded to snake from my clean out. Within minutes the line was clear, water was flowing clearly, and needlessly to say, my girlfriend was a happy one. I haven't had the best luck finding great plumbers that will do a fair and fast job. However, JBC was quick to send someone out to my house and Josh did a great job. Not knowing anything about plumbing, I looked on YELP and after searching through a lot of plumbers, JBC Plumbing caught my eye and read all the reviews, I decided to get a quote from JBC Plumbing and explained my situation. My washer dryer valve was leaking and needed to be replaced. I liked that I could ask online and also get a quote and attach a picture so they could see it. Josh got back to me super fast and gave me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. I set up an appointment and he provided fast service. Nate came the next day and was very courteous in calling me to say he was on his way. Nate was very easy to talk to and explained everything he was doing. I had water leaking from my food waste disposer on Saturday after Black Friday. I contacted JBC Plumbing and Josh answered my call. I told him what the problem was and he was able to fit me in his schedule for the day. He came after an hour and diagnosed what the problem was. My disposer is corroded and must have not been changed before we bought the house. He replaced my disposer really quickly and provided me with good advice for the future. He is very knowledgeable in his field and is very patient in answering my questions. He is professional and most of all an honest person. You will not regret hiring them for your plumbing needs.

Had a broken shower valve early in the morning around 9am and called our landlord that recommended JBC Plumbing.I had called thinking there was no way they could get here today. I realized I was wrong, they understood my emergency and said someone would be out between 1-4. Got a message around 12:45 from the assigned worker Nate, and asked for a picture of what was broken. Sent the picture and he showed up with all required parts by around 1:40. He was respectful, kind and all around great person. The work took only approximately 20 minutes including all paperwork. I will recommend this business to anyone, and all future plumbing will be done by JBC Plumbing. Thanks again for the outstanding work Nate and JBC Plumbing, its much appreciated.

Based on reviews here on yelp, I decided to try these guys to have my water heater replaced. They were quick to respond and give me a quote which was very reasonable. I live in an upstairs unit and they did the replacement easily, draining the old one getting it downstairs and bringing the new one upstairs. All this in just over an hour. There was an additional charge for a part that needed a replacement but overall, very reasonable especially compared to some other companies who quoted a couple of hundred more for the same thing.

I even asked them about doing some other cosmetic stuff but they suggested I keep what I have if it's not giving me any problems. Happy that they didn't encourage me just to get another job and more $$$.

Matt did a great job in a timely manner, very honest and trustworthy. Definitely my go too from now on.

I called these guys early in the morning, after checking Yelp for reviews, and after a few rings I hung up, thinking it was probably too early. Within a few minutes, they called me back to ask if I had called (obviously have caller ID) and asked if I needed help with something. I told them yes, we had a clogged drain and couldn't use any water because it was backing up into the drains. I was advised that they had a few scheduled appointments already, but would be out to the house between 1:00 and 4:30 that day. At around 3:00 they called to let me know that they were finishing up a job and would be arriving in about 30 mins. Sure enough, within that time Matt showed up to help us out. He unclogged the drain, which took about 40 mins (we talked a little story too), and charged me for an hour visit. I was very pleased with this company for these reasons: 1.They called me back after I hung up to see if I still needed their help, 2.They called me to let me know they were finishing up another place & when they would be arriving, 3.They got there when they said they would, 4.Did the work fairly quickly, and 5.Didn't charge me a fortune! Plus, not to mention, Matt was a totally nice guy!! I will definitely be calling these guys for any future needs and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Our experience with JBC plumbing was 100% positive. We called because we were unable to install our new washing machine as the supply valves had corroded and the old hoses were stuck. My husband spoke with Matt and he was very accommodating. He had originally scheduled to come home early from work and meet the plumber ended up running late. Matt was kind enough to reschedule with us and came the next day (on his day off) at 7:00 in the morning. He was able to replace the valves and hooked up our new washing machine (yay for clean clothes!). He was even able to address additional issues that we sprung on him (broken toilet shutoff valve, leaking sink faucet). We were very pleased with pricing and quality work. Matt could've done the minimum to address the situation, especially since it was his day off, but he stayed to make sure everything was running properly. We are very grateful and would highly recommend JBC Plumbing to anyone who appreciates quality work and great customer service at a fair price.

So apparently I was not given the full information on charging diagnostic fees. I received the invoice even though no work was done and the individual spent 30 minutes in the home. I did call to clarify my earlier discussion about no diagnostic fees being charged and was not informed of the other half of the terms. In the end I was charged the entire amount but I did call and spoke with Josh and he was kind enough to propose a compromise. It wasn't the result I wanted but it was reasonable. I would still use their services in the future if anything were to arise.

Had a clogged shower pipe that my dad and I couldn't get rid of so after admitting defeat, I went on Yelp to find a reliable plumber and found JBC Plumbing.

5 out of 5 stars and let me explain why. 1- quick response on the call. I was thinking maybe an answering machine but my call got picked up fast. 2- I was expecting I had to make a next day appt, but I was given the time frame on the same day of my call. 3- When I asked the ballpark estimate costs on the phone and questions my dad had, they gave me the answers and costs that made us say "yeah, come down, let's fix this thing". 4- Really, really friendly and hardworking. At one point, we thought the clog was going to require cutting things up and having the cost skyrocket. No, he kept trying until he got it done. And lastly 5- The cost was reasonable and fair. I've already been told what the prices would be so I ain't complaining.

Just a heads up for anyone asking about payment options, cash or check on the spot.

Late last night the shower would not drain and so I immediately got on Yelp to check out plumbers with great ratings. I contacted the top 3 for quotes. JBC and another company contacted me almost immediately. JBC gave me an estimate of $120 right away and told me they'd be available to come by tomorrow. The other company had me call them. They told me I had to find out if my apartment unit shared the pipe with my neighbor because it'd be more difficult and cost more if it did and they also stated the rough estimate was going to be $150 - $185. I figured I'd go with JBC since they basically already told me the cost and said they were available. I let them know I'd like their service at 9am and they responded that they would come by between 12-3pm. My mistake I thought that meant they'd be fixing it from 12-3. That's the estimated arrival time. Nate called at 1:30pm to say he'd coming up shortly. At 1:50pm he came in, took off his shoes, I showed him the problem and he got to work right away. It took about 15 minutes and it was all good. He cleared the clog and even found this huge piece of metal that was down there. Our bath stopper doesn't work and the metal piece that's supposed to work it was broken off and just hanging out in our pipes adding to the clog!! He pulled it out, cleared the clog and then went down another 15 feet to really make sure. It was fast, friendly and exactly the amount I was told. For any type of clog/drain situation as of 12.29.16 it's $120 flat. For plumbing stuff eg. change stuff, fix stuff, it's $95/hour. No surprises, quick and super polite. I'd highly recommend this company and totally understand the consistently high ratings they've been getting.

Tip: When you clog your drain, tell the plumber what it was that's clogging it if you happen to know because it can help save time and help them determine what they need to do.

I called JBC Plumbing after reading the reviews, and they lived up to the billing...BIG TIME. Josh, Nate and the crew are really great guys who are very detail oriented and know what they are doing. I called them last Wednesday to try and help me with some plumbing issues that I needed resolved before I had family over on Saturday. Nate came out on Thursday and was very knowledgeable and friendly, and did not try to push me to spend money. Instead he assessed my two toilets, tried to resolve the problem and suggested that I replace my toilets, which were about 10 years old, but was not pushy about it. I eventually chose to replace the toilets after consulting the boss, and Nate immediately got me a discount, and did not charge me for the call out. Josh and his helper came out Friday with two new toilets, TOTO brand, and removed, replaced and disposed of my old toilets with the new ones for a very fair price. I felt so comfortable with Josh that I allowed him to complete the work without me or anyone present at my house, and they did a really good job and cleaned up after themselves, disposed of my old toilets, and locked up leaving my house cleaner that it was when they came. These guys were AWESOME!! Thank you JBC.

JBC and Nate came to our plumbing rescue! First off, Nate arrived within 1 minute of the scheduled time. After a pleasant intro, he was quickly on the job. Diagnosed our blocked main line in minutes and quickly cleared the blockage. He explained everything, kept the area clean and fully explained future steps to address problems. Fast service and reasonable prices. The guy fixed my shower leak really quickly and even went out to get parts that I didn't have available. All in all, a 2 hour job with parts and labor cost me about $300 but that's pretty reasonable.

Requested a quote on Yelp and was contacted in minutes. Had me scheduled ASAP to come out and take a look. Nate showed up and was in and out within the hour. Problem solved. JBC did a great job resolving my issues in a short period of time and provided excellent customer service while in my home. I was unaware of what the average price would be and would have appreciated a quote or average site visit price over the phone.

JBC Plumbing is as great as it gets.

I had a clogged bathtub that I tried to unclog myself previously using four different liquid "professional grade" drain uncloggers to no avail, needless to say, that trust ol' plunger was of no use this time either.

It got so bad the water started coming back up from the drain. I requested a quote from Yelp using their 'Request A Quote' feature and received several quotes. Some quotes were the same as or similar to JBC's, but Joshua's email was less technical as it was friendly and willing to come right over and help.

He got here pretty quickly, snaked and cleared the clog, and was in & out in less than 15 minutes.

The quote was perfect for a last minute weekend emergency call and the job was well done and flash timing.

Glad I went with JBC Plumbing, I know who I'll be calling again if I have other plumbing issues in the future.

We are new home owners and we found out we needed to have a lot of plumbing issues addressed. We had another plumber come out and they gave us a hard time. When we called JBC Plumbing we got straight forward answers to our questions. When Jon and Josh came to service our condo we were impressed with their professionalism and awesome quality of work. They had to address many issues in one visit and explained to us everything they had done.

JBC Plumbing was a very pleasant surprise for me. The company was recommended by a referral given to me by another company I use. Josh who I assume is the owner is totally on top of his business besides having done a great repair jobs, he was fast, efficient, pleasant, professional and I think more than fair in his pricing. The work he did for me was in a rental unit of our and he never fleched when I ask him to bill me for the charges. AWESOME experience! I couldn't turn off my main water line so I called a plumber. The first guy that came quoted me about $800. Josh was my second quote...FREE!!! He used his man strength to turn the valve. Unbelievable that the other guy wouldn't even try to turn the nob when I asked him to. Josh was on time and very professional. I will definitely use this company in the future since Josh was so honest!

JBC Plumbing is the best of the best! Josh Crail and his assistant Nat are very professional, skilled, knowledgeable and experts in Plumbing. They were so punctual (they came exactly at the time their appointment was set at), They were very efficient and accurate and as they installed my new kitchen sink, disposal and faucet, were able to find and replace leaking supply hoses, their handles and a drain basket. They completed the job in a short amount of time and did excellent work
Their pricing was excellent too - so fair and reasonable. Also,the next day kind-hearted Nat, per my request exchanged the cold and hot tubings under the sink so that the cold water function on the faucet "joystick" was in the front of the faucet and not the back as the Manufacturer had intended it, (there was no charge to me for this, for which I am very thankful), This exchange made it much easier for me to reach and turn on and receive cold and hot water. I would highly recommend this company - "hands-down" to anyone who wants the "Creme de la Creme" of Plumbers in the Plumbing industry.. I will definitely use them again for all of my future plumbing needs.

JBC Plumbing is a very good company to use if you need plumbing work done. My upstairs toilet had water leaking from the tank into the toilet bowl. I replaced the flapper, but it was still leaking water into the bowl. I decided to call JBC Plumbing and Nate came over the next day and replaced the flush valve and gasket. He knew exactly what to do and got the job done right the first time. No more leaking water. The price charged was very reasonable. I highly recommend JBC Plumbing to anyone.

Searched around for a good plumbing company and found this one thru Yelp. I called for an appointment and they came out the next day(today). Nate came by promptly even before the scheduled time. I needed the wax ring on the bottom of the toilet replaced. Nate was very very nice and efficient. I then asked him if he could replace the flush valve mechanism and he said sure no problem since he had the part in his van. He then said If I wanted to replace the water hose because it was corroded so I said sure. I then asked him since he's there, if he could replace the shower spigot, handles, and shower arm. He said yeah no problem! He had most of the parts in his van. Nate was very professional, neat, clean and fast. The price was very reasonable too. I would surely call them again if need be!

Much mahalo to the JBC team. Right from the start they provided great service. I got my quote for installing a new toilet within a few hours. The price I was provided was very reasonable too. Josh answered all of my questions and was able to fit me into the schedule the very next day.

Nate and Jon Jon who did the toilet installation were great too. They were very professional and knowledgable. They had all the tools they needed to get the job done and were very neat in how they performed their work.

They are amazing!! Same day service!! And showed up promptly for the scheduled time. My grandma had a leaking pipe in her kitchen and that she's been worried about. I told them about the problem he let me know the price- way less than I expected and he fixed the leak that day. Nothing like finding out on a Sunday night that your toilet's been leaking from a pipe all day and your bathroom floor & rug are soaking wet!

I found this company here through yelp. I sent them a message about the leaking toilet close to midnight on Sunday night, and they responded first thing Monday morning. I gave them a call Monday morning, and they were able to give me a time estimate of noon to 3 PM. I liked that they were able to schedule me the same day I called, especially since this is the only day this week I would be able to be home for that kind of time frame. Nate arrived right around 2:30 PM. I appreciate that he called before he left Kapolei, to give a heads up, rather than some companies/service people who just call when they're outside without giving any sort of advance notice.

He was able to replace some parts in under an hour, and thankfully the toilet is no longer leaking. It came out to $118 for everything (parts, labor, + tax). That was right around what they quoted me over the phone, so that wasn't a huge surprise. Thankfully it was an easy fix and not a bigger problem. I liked that they offer a 30 day warranty in case something goes wrong, which gives a bit of peace of mind that they stand behind their work (although I really hope nothing else goes wrong).

I hope not to have to need plumbing services again, BUT if I do need to call a plumber I will definitely use them again! Very professional and arrived within the time frame promised.

Called after 5pm on a Friday. Bathroom sink clogged due to central air drainage system thru inside plumbing. Stupid system in the first place. Should go directly outside and have its own line so it doesn't clog drain in the house.
Anyway, called Josh. Gave me a quote and was at my house in 15mins. Spent less than an hour unclogging drain. Fast, reliable, and reasonably priced. Would recommend and use services in the future.

Wow! I cannot say enough about Nate who came out right away to fix our leaking toilet. It was rocking and leaking and he put a new wax ring on it, caulked it and it's good as new! The rate was totally reasonable and he was very nice and polite. We will call JBC for any future needs for sure and also recommend them to neighbors. Had a leak behind my wall and called a few plumbing companies on a Saturday morning. Josh returned my call almost immediately and told me he could make it to my house that same day. He arrived on time, quickly isolated and fixed the problem, and was very professional. Fairly priced, friendly service, highly recommend, and would use their services again!

Had a leaking pipe in the wall behind the water heater. Called Josh on a Saturday morning and was told someone would be over sometime in the afternoon. Isaiah came at 11:30am, diagnosed the source of the problem and replaced copper tubing thereby eliminating the leak; finishing by 12:30pm. Friendly, quick, good, at a fair price!
